That when my parents come to visit in April their hotel room will be twice the size of my apartment. I also find it funny that over my three years going to school in Oklahoma, I have had four people come to visit. Over one year in Paris, eight people will fly ACROSS AN OCEAN to see me. Thanks everybody lol

At least you're in Norman. I was at OSU before the huge explosion of stores a few years ago. We got super excited when a small best buy opened. That was less than 6 years ago!

I live about 2.5 hours north, but I'm going to college next year in Edmond (Oklahoma Christian)

I'm planning on being down there on March 5/6/7 for a college visit...

Oh yeah I know a couple people up there. I'm not there right now (studying abroad) but I'll be going back for my last year of school next year. I know davesaddiction is in Tulsa and he recommended their C&C; maybe we can do a little Oklahoma Oppo meetup one day?

the distance , i used to live 200km from my parents , 1 of my older brothers only lived 100km from them , of course they kept on visiting me , never stayed overnight , just come for a day out.

number of times they visited my brother? nil

mind you he lived in big city , i lived in small country town.

nope , my mum (dad gave up driving a few years ago , slowed up driving soon as i got my license actually) hates driving in and around big cities , so he got no visits.

he never complained mind you.

Ok that makes sense, I don't like driving in big cities either. There is definitely something to be said for the escape leaving home offers. I normally go to school about 1,000 miles from my parents and I like just having the very occasional visit.
